They’ve brought their A game for the event – with live performances, dance challenges, and fun games such as naughty charades all the way till 1am. Participants will also get the chance to try unique cocktails, perfect for winding down after a long week of work.

4. Rollermania 2024

6. Borealis at Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is where you’ll find gorgeous installations, and the new Borealis light show is no exception. These Northern Lights-inspired displays will be part of the fixed programme at the Supertree Grove, where 30 cloud machines and lasers have been installed to recreate the magical experience.

Combining ice cream and the afterlife is the new play, Paradise or the Impermanence of Ice Cream, by the Singapore Repertory Theatre. The story follows Kutisar as he navigates his post-death situation in heaven and hell, with charming Bollywood disco performances cleverly woven into the show.

The Singapore International Festival of Arts 2024 appeals to the theatre community with 5 new productions and 7 international presentations. This includes the operatic performance SUN & SEA, as well as a live adaptation of Moby Dick. There are child-friendly installations too – think ballerinas and furry monster puppets that will delight your little ones.

9. [Because of Love] World Tour

Taiwanese rock duo Power Station (動力火車) is bringing their [Because of Love] World Tour to Singapore, so fans can jam out to their electric rock ballads. They’ve got a long list of hits, including Love Me True, Coat, and Dong which we’re yearning to hear.

10. Frida Forever

Iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo will be honoured through the upcoming Frida Forever exhibition. The place will be split into 3 sections, and you can admire interactive paintings, watch an AR movie, and even see intimate parts of the artist’s life like her diary pages and medical records.

11. Tulipmania

If you’re a self-professed flower fiend, bookmark Tulipmania that’s happening at the Flower Dome. Expect a burst of colour as there’ll be rows and rows of the beautiful flowers planted. And in the backgrounds, you’ll also notice traditional Dutch windmills and watermills.

There’ll also be a DIY Tulip Bracelet event ($15/pax) happening on 11th and 12th May. The workshop will include the materials needed like glass tulips and beads, so you can craft a lovely present for mum!
