Oriental Kopi: Famous Malaysian Cafe To Open In SG With Popular Egg Tarts And More

Oriental Kopi will open in Singapore with famous Nanyang cuisine

Soon, you don’t have to cross the border for your Oriental Kopi fix: the famous chain, which boasts 14 outlets in Malaysia, is coming to Singapore by September 2024!

A joint partnership with Paradise Group, this new opening marks the brand’s first overseas venture. There aren’t many details at the moment, but according to a press release, the Singapore cafe will be in a “prime location”. There are also plans to expand and open a total of eight outlets within Singapore in the next three years.

On the food front, the new outlet will offer signature dishes the brand is known for, along with Singapore-exclusive items. Their Signature Egg Tart (price TBD) will definitely be on the menu.

For the perfect brekkie or snack, Oriental Kopi’s Double Butter Kaya Toast (price TBD) will not disappoint. You get thin toast packed with Hainanese kaya and not one, but two slabs of cold butter for extra indulgence.

The chain is known for their nasi lemak too, served with various toppings. Crowned with a deep-fried chicken thigh, the Oriental Signature Nasi Lemak (price TBD) is a must-try. Else, you can swap out the fried chicken for beef rendang instead!

For drinks, the Oriental Kopi (price TBD) is a must-order. This full-bodied, Nanyang-style coffee is made from a secret mix of top-quality Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica beans. You can also try the Oriental Mocha (price TBD), which features premium chocolate and fresh milk for a deliciously rich and sweet brew.
