The Music Matters Live event at Clarke Quay is the place to go for eargasms. There’ll be a slew of live performances to catch, with over 50 artists including Ben Swissa, Who Shot Scott, William Singe, and Arlo Maverick.

2. Doujima

Doujima is bustlin’ with over 500 vendors this year. There will be booths selling merch and handmade art from One Piece, Genshin Impact, and Pokémon, as well as live illustration booths if you fancy a portrait of yourself. Don’t forget to check out the play area where you can join others in a thrilling live Dungeons & Dragons game.

3. Pets’ Day Out

Make the weekend all about your furry friend at Pets’ Day Out. Take advantage of the free microchipping procedures for cats, or bring your pet for a free grooming sesh. There’s also a photobooth and fun carnival games for hoomans to enjoy. Of course, those looking to adopt can swing by the adoption stations.

4. Taiwan Night Market

No need to hop on a plane to visit the famed Shilin Night Market. The Taiwan Night Market at Waterway Point emulates Taiwan’s popular night markets with classic street food like fried chicken and egg rolls. You’ll also find desserts like muah chee and crepes to satisfy your sweet tooth.

5. Sake Matsuri

Sake lovers, take note. The Sake Matsuri event is happening this weekend, where over 250 sake and Japanese spirits will be showcased. Experts from numerous breweries will be there to guide and share more on the beverages, so you’ll be sure to learn lots at this 3-hour free-flow session.

6. Rollermania 2024

Put on your best disco pants and roll over to Rollermania 2024. This adorable skating rink is large enough for you and the whole gang to whizz around, while snapping a tonne of photos. 8. Borealis at Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is where you’ll find gorgeous installations, and the new Borealis light show is no exception. These Northern Lights-inspired displays will be part of the fixed programme at the Supertree Grove, where 30 cloud machines and lasers have been installed to recreate the magical experience.

14. Tulipmania

Past year’s Tulipmania. 

If you’re a self-professed flower fiend, bookmark Tulipmania that’s happening at the Flower Dome. Expect a burst of colour as there’ll be rows and rows of the beautiful flowers planted. And in the backgrounds, you’ll also notice traditional Dutch windmills and watermills.

There’ll also be a DIY Tulip Bracelet event ($15/pax) happening on 11th and 12th May. The workshop will include the materials needed like glass tulips and beads, so you can craft a lovely present for mum!

15. Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema
