Tulipmania at Gardens by the Bay is returning for its 10th edition, transforming the Flower Dome into stunning fields of colourful tulips once more. In celebration of this beloved decade-long occasion, Tulipmania 2024 has plenty of freebies and highlights to look forward to.
This includes complimentary tulips and the chance to win round-trip tickets to Amsterdam to see the iconic Netherlands tulip blooms for real. The event will run from now till 26th May 2024, with admission rates priced from just $12/pax. Here’s everything you need to know:
What can you expect at Gardens by the Bay Tulipmania 2024?

It’s called Tulipmania for a reason. The entire Flower Dome will be filled with vibrant seas of tulips, which are the national flower for The Netherlands. Although snapping high-level IG shots will definitely be a priority, it’ll be quite the sight to simply pause and behold.

Don’t go thinking that tulips are confined to one variety, just in different colours. Tulipmania 2024 will showcase not only the classic tulip, which sports a distinct cup-shaped appearance, but also double petalled tulips, fringe tulips, and crown tulips.

Amidst the gorgeous blooms, you’ll also spot quintessentially Dutch set-ups and decor bringing the space to life. We’re talking quaint farmhouses with thatched roofs and grazing cows to echo the idyllic countryside life, old-school windmills which are a staple image on all Dutch souvenirs, and even sleek wind turbines.

Fun fact: the wind turbines are a modern adaptation of the traditional windmills which The Netherlands are so well-known for, as the country gradually shifts to renewable energy sources. It’s nice to see the age-old icon of windmills being preserved in line with sustainability trends!
Freebies & giveaways at Gardens by the Bay Tulipmania 2024
The tulips are so beautiful, it’s natural to wish you could take some with you. Of course, you should never pick any of the flowers from the exhibits throughout Gardens by the Bay. But as part of the special 10th anniversary celebration, Tulipmania 2024 has free tulips that guests can actually take home.

All visitors to the Flower Dome on 4th and 5th May 2024 will get a single-stalk tulip. Talk about a treasured souvenir to remember the outing by! It’ll also serve as a lovely prop as you traverse the Tulipmania exhibits and snap pics along the way. They’ll start handing out the tulips as soon as the gates open at 9am, so head down early while stocks last.

The exhibit will likely have you yearning for a trip to The Netherlands. And for 2 lucky Singaporeans, that could very well be a reality – for free. Gardens by the Bay is holding a giveaway where you could snag a pair of round-trip tickets on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to Amsterdam.

To partake in the draw, scan the QR code at the Delft Blue House display. You’ll be brought to a quiz webpage where you have to identify the miniature Delft houses correctly. The answers are all there in the exhibit, so you just have to mix and match the names and visuals. Good luck!
Tulipmania 2024 prices & things to do at Gardens by the Bay
Admission to the Flower Dome to see the Tulipmania 2024 exhibit is priced $12/adult, and $8 per child aged 3 to 12 years old, or senior aged 60 and above. If you’d like to make a half-day trip out of it, you’d get more value by getting the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome bundle deal. This is priced at $12/adult, $12/child, and $15/senior.
